Kiara Advani has played the role of Captain Vikram Batra’s fiance in the movie, Dimple Cheema. She decided not to marry after the martyrdom of his fiancee and living as his widow to date.
The song was released on Friday and we see a glimpse of the beauty of reel life Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple Cheema’s relationship.
The song starts with a scene where we see Dimple writing a letter for Vikram and him reading the letter while posted somewhere in Kargil.
In the letter, Dimple talks about their past memories reminding him of their special date, and then we get to see how their college life was.

In an interview, Kiara also reveals that she met with Dimple Cheema and witnessed her love for Vikram Batra. she quotes “We see all of this in Hindi cinema but clearly cinema is inspired by real-life people. Both Vikram and Dimple, their persona in every sense was…” Kiara stopped and added that the couple’s romance was worth it, maybe due to Vikram’s heroic personality.
She also added further: “He was so vibrant and heroic, not just because he devoted himself for the country but everything he did was in true hero way. In an interview of Dimple Cheema earlier with The Quint, she shared some past memories of her time spent with Vikram Batra back when they were in college in the year 1995.
she quoted “I met Vikram for the first time in 1995 in Punjab University in Chandigarh when we both had joined MA English, but as fate would have it, neither of us completed it. I guess it was destiny playing its part in bringing us together and becoming an integral part of each other.”
She also reveals that Captain Vikram was immensely happy or say cloud nine when was selected for the Indian Military Academy.
