He was there to celebrate a birthday party of her friend and a business partner, Tracy Danielly Robinson. He also went to attend the boxing match of his other friend Mike Tyson with Bruce Seldon at the MGM Grand with Suge Knight.
At around 11:15 pm at a stoplight, a four-door white car, a late-model of Cadillac sedan pulled up to the passenger side of Tupac car and fired rapidly towards Tupac Shakur.
Tupac Shakur was hit by 4 bullets in that drive-by shooting, Two in the chest, one in the arm, one in the thigh. When asked about Tupac’s bodyguard’s whereabouts he would say he had been instructed to drive Shakur’s girlfriend’s car: Kidada Jones.
