Movie director Ryan Coogler was handcuffed by Atlanta police after he was mistaken for a robber when he passed a teller a note while trying to withdraw a large amount of cash.

'Be Discreet'

The "Black Panther" director, who is black, walked into a Bank of America and passed the teller a note asking her "be discreet when handing him the cash"

No It's Not Racist

Before you think it's racist, the employee who reported is also a black woman, Ryan Coogler was trying to withdraw more than $10,000 and the teller "received an alert" on computer.

Police also detained his driver when they saw a black SUV with it's engine running outside the Bank, along with a female passenger inside the car.

The driver and the passenger gave a description of Coogler that matched the description of the man trying to rob the bank, He was released later.
