Hurley Spoke About Musk

And a new Netflix documentary, "Return to Space" which follows Hurley's journey as the first human SpaceX mission to International Space Station.

In May 2020, Musk and SpaceX

Made history after the company successfully launched two astronauts into space aboard a Crew Dragon spaceship.

According to Hurley

Musk had a "huge amount of concern" for him and Behnken's safety when preparing for the launch.

Hurley Quoted

"He wanted to ensure that the mission would not only be successful but that we would come back to our families,"

As The Spaceflight Edged Closer

Hurley recalled Musk speaking to every employee, "even the interns," asking them about their concerns surrounding the mission.

Hurley Added Further

"I think that's a very human side a lot of people don't get to see. What I witnessed was a man who was genuinely concerned about our well-being and our families."
